VirQuick is an alcohol-free, fast-acting disinfectant for invasive, non-invasive medical devices and alcohol-sensitive surfaces.
It contains no alcohol, aldehydes, PHMB and is perfect for all water-resistant surfaces in the medical area. Thanks to its special formula, it has excellent material compatibility combined with excellent cleaning properties.
VirQuick has a broad spectrum of action on bacteria (including MRSA, VRE, A.baumannii and K.pneumoniae), mycobacteria (including mycobacterium avium and mycobacterium terrae), fungi and yeasts.
The product is also active on viruses (including HBV, HIV, HCV, Vaccinia, Rota and Noro).
The bottle is equipped with a dual-mode dispenser:
- it can be used as a foaming agent for the pre-sterilisation of contaminated medical instruments. This type of pre-sterilisation treatment of medical instruments is a very important step in ensuring an effective and safe sterilisation procedure, as it helps to reduce microbial contamination and to remove blood and other organic residues from medical instruments.
- it can be used with the traditional non-foaming trigger sprayer, designed for rapid disinfection of surfaces, particularly those sensitive to alcohol. It has good compatibility on surfaces and instruments made of stainless steel, glass, aluminium, copper, brass, ceramics, PVC, rubber, plastics, silicone, acrylic polymers and plexiglass.
Virquick is a class IIb medical device according to point 15, Annex IX of the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC.
